H-E-B Express Delivery

H-E-B is adding a new service in addition to Curbside and Home Delivery. Today, Thursday April 23rd, H-E-B annoucned it will now offer 2-hour delivery of grocery essentials using Favor Delivery.

How does express delivery works? You can choose up to 25 items from a list of essentials. What is considered an essential? According to the press release, the list includes items”such as dairy, meat, produce, beer and wine and more.”

In some instances, Favor Runners will be forced to substitute items based on availability. In these instances, the Runner will contact you directly.

“This new service is another way H-E-B and Favor are working together to respond to unprecedented demand during this crisis to get Texans the essentials they need, when they need them,” said Jag Bath, H-E-B Chief Digital Officer and Favor CEO. “We continue increasing H-E-B Curbside and Home Delivery availability for customers who want to place orders in advance for same day, next day or later — and now, with Express Delivery, Texans can get two-hour delivery on up to 25 items when they need an immediate option.”

Express delivery is also available for Central Market and Joe V’s throughout Texas via Favor. For more information, you can read the official press release here.

The services is available all week and weekend, from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. It includes a $4.98 two-hour delivery fee (regularly $9.95) and $10 tip for your Runner.
