As the holidays approach, parents may wonder how to keep their kids occupied while they work. Thankfully, there are some great winter camps in San Antonio throughout the holiday break that are great for keeping kids occupied in a fun, safe, and supportive environment.
What’s great is many of these holiday camps for kids are very affordable! We’ve put together a guide to the best winter camps in San Antonio below for 2019-2020 holiday break.
YMCA Holiday Camps
Winter break camps at the Y are a great way to get your kids entertained and active during the holidays. Camps typically last 3 days and are great for kids ages 5 to 12.
Dates vary, but many of the San Antonio area YMCA facilities are offering winter camps for kids this holiday season.

Camp Active Day Camp at Alamo Gymnastics Center
At Alamo Gymnastics’ holiday camps, your kids will enjoy a full day of gym play, crafts, games, and more. Camps run from 8 am to 4 pm, and after care is available until 6:30 pm for an additional charge on some days.
Kids 4 and older who are potty trained can be enrolled in these winter camps. Make sure to send your child with a sack lunch. Two daily snacks will be provided by the gym.
Winter camps are available December 23, 26, 27, and 30, and January 2, 3. Cost is $42 per day or $180 for a full week.

Witte Museum Winter Camp
At the Witte Museum’s winter camps, your kids ages will explore the museum’s newest exhibition – Mythic Creatures: Dragons, Unicorns, & Mermaids, learning about the origins of popular folklore. Two different programs are available – one for kids 6 to 8 and the other for kids ages 9 to 12.
Camps run between 9 am to 5 pm each day from December 30 through January 3. Cost is $340 for members and $390 for non-members for the full week.
Holiday Camps at The DoSeum
The DoSeum’s popular holiday camps are back! Kids can explore new STEM and art concepts, create, and learn problem solving skills all in a fun, exciting environment.
Camps include: Prism Play (Ages 3-4), Making It 2.0 (ages 5-7), DO Gooders (ages 5-7), and Master Camp: Brain Games (ages 8-11). All camps are two-day camps from January 2-3, 2020, and prices range between $80-$195 depending on the camp.
Holiday Camps at The Little Gym of North San Antonio
School is out for the winter, but fun is in at The Little Gym of North San Antonio. Day camps give your kids the full summer camp experience without all the heat, bug bites, and other nuisances of the summer.
Camps are available for ages 3 to 12 and start at only $30 per session.

Pump It Up Winter Kids Camps
Pump It Up is offering new lower pricing for its 2019-2020 winter camps. At just $40 per kid (sibling discounts available!) for a full day from 7:30 am to 6 pm or $30 for a half-day 9 am to 3 pm, kids can enjoy a day of jumping, games, crafts, snacks, and more!
Day camps are available December 23, 24, 26, 27, 30, and 31, and January 2-3. Kids ages 5 to 12 can attend.
