Starlight Movies in the Garden Series: Breakfast at Tiffany’s (movie begins at dusk)
Picnics, blankets, lawn chairs welcome. Light concessions will be offered for sale.
Friday, May 2, 7:00 p.m., Alamo Drafthouse Westlakes and Stone Oak locations
Free admission (all ages welcome!) to watch the Spurs on the Drafthouse’s super big screen in Game 6 (Friday at 7:00 p.m.) and Game 7 (Sunday, time TBD) as they go for their fifth title.
An 18% gratuity will be added to all food and beverage checks during Spurs screenings.

The San Antonio Library offers free, fun sessions for kids this weekend (and most weekends). Their calendar has all of the up-to-date information including times and addresses. This weekends’ events include Come & Go Crafts at the Thousand Oaks Branch Library (Sat.), Dinosaur Day at the Westfall Branch Library (Sat.), Science Experiments Live! for Young Children at the Landa Branch Library (Sun.), and Yu-Gi-Oh! Dueling on the Patio Semmes Branch Library (Sun.). Also scheduled at branches across the city are bilingual events to celebrate Día de los Niños. Visit this calendar for dates and locations.

Mercado O’liva. Enjoy San Antonio’s newest outdoor market: shop local artisans and vendors, watch food demos, buy refreshments, listen to live entertainment, and learn about plans for the new restaurant, O’liva, set to open in that area later this year.

San Antonio Museum of Art’s First Sundays for Families: Animal Instincts: Events and activities for kids and families inspired by Bob Kuhn’s exhibit, Drawing on Instinct. Scavenger hunt, hands-on activities including watercolors, animal portraits, and storytelling in the gallery. Kids 12 and under are FREE! Everyone is admitted for free on Sundays at SAMA from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

First Saturday Program – Snakes Alive
Learn to distinguish Texas venomous snakes from non-venomous ones and learn other characteristics of snakes native to our area. Meet and touch friendly snakes and participate in a kid-friendly craft.
