The Magik Theatre presents Shakespeare in the Park: Hamlet
Gates open at 6:30. Show starts at 8:00. Free admission (but suggested donation of $5 per person). No outside food and drink is permitted. Concessions available at the event. Lawn chairs and blankets recommended.
Thursday, May 29, Alamo Drafthouse Westlakes, Park North, and Stone Oak, 8:00 p.m.
Free admission (all ages welcome!) to watch the Spurs on the Drafthouse’s super big screen against the Oklahoma City Thunder. An 18% gratuity will be added to any food and beverage checks during Spurs screenings.

This Saturday, families can see The Magik Theatre performance of Jack and the Beanstalk at the Valero pavilion. San Antonio mom blogger Inga, with San Antonio Charter Moms, has more details about all of the free Landa Gardens Month events in May.

Free craft for kids, ages 3 and up: make a mermaid mobile that twinkles as it turns
Saturday, May 31, art pace, 445 North Main Avenue, 78205, 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Teen Scene: the You(th)Pace Teen Art Council invites San Antonio high school students to attend this free evening that includes art, screen printing, live music, a Photo Booth, and food
Sunday, June 1, San Antonio Museum of Art, 200 West Jones Avenue, 78215, 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
First Sundays for Families: Pattern Play. Art activities for families around the topic of patterns, designs, and symbols, includes batik steaming, making a Roman mosaic, painting Islamic tessellations, and learning about symbolism in Chinese art. Kids 12 and under are free (adults are $10 each) for this event (and, on Sundays, everyone is admitted to the museum for free between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.).
Sunday, June 1, Central Library, 600 Soledad, 78205, 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Marvel Summer Movie Series: The Hulk. Bring snacks to enjoy during this free screening.
