FREE swimming at San Antonio public outdoor pools:
The San Antonio public pool swimming season runs through Aug. 16. Hours of operation at the majority of the department’s 24 outdoor pools during the summer are Tuesday through Sunday from 1 to 7 p.m. with some pools open from 2 to 8 p.m.

Free Tuesdays at the Witte with no admission between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. And, if you pay just $5, you can also see the cool (and awesomely disgusting) Grossology exhibit. This fun, educational, and interactive exhibit is all about the body and why it produces so many gross things. It’s a total crowd pleaser for kids and parents alike. Giggling encouraged.
