We’ve made every effort to ensure that this list is accurate and up-to-date, however, some venues/events/activities make changes without notifying us. We recommend contacting them before visiting to be 100% sure that their free offerings are still available.

Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women, representing 1 of every 3 deaths in the United States and is known as a “silent killer.” To commemorate and spread awareness for American Heart Month, The Emergency Center is offering Free Heart Checks between February 19th and 29th. The Heart Check will include: Pulse and Blood Pressure, EKG, Fasting Lipid Profile (Cholesterol) and Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease Risk Calculator.
Patients can call 877-336-6898 ext 701 until February 18th and 210-485-3644 starting February 19th, 24/7 to schedule their appointments. The Heart Check will take about 15 minutes and testing requires 10 hours of fasting. Due to the need for fasting, mornings fill up fast so patients are advised to schedule appointments soon. All patients will receive a copy of their test results. If the Heart Check indicates a greater than low risk, the patient will be advised to follow up with their PCP or cardiologist.

FREE pancakes with IHOP’s Free Pancakes promotion. Enjoy a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes and consider making a donation for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and/or other designated local charities. The goal this year is to raise $3.5 million for charity!

CNC: Little Explorers! Little Explorers will come for fun and adventure using their five senses to discover nature. They will listen to stories, sing songs, play games, explore the outdoors, and make crafts to take home. $5 per family.
