Kidcation Week is San Antonio’s summer celebration of kids! Each year, local businesses, restaurants, hotels, and entertainment groups offer special deals to kids and families visiting San Antonio. BUT the great news is, locals can take advantage of these deals too!

Explore the Art of Watercolor at Debra Benditz Art Studios in La Villita: August 8, 10 – Noon. Ages 8 and up.

Briscoe Western Art Museum Free Buckaroo Bags: Free for families during museum hours with museum admission. Each bag covers a theme and contains self-guided materials for exploration, play, and response in the museum galleries

I love this idea! Little guy is still too young for us to really take advantage of most of these deals, but a city-wide event focused on kid perks is exactly the kind of thing that…well, just seems so San Antonio.
