Even if you live in the area, the DoubleTree by Hilton Downtown is a great choice for a staycation. It’s right next to Market Square, and you can walk pretty much anywhere you would want to go. If walking isn’t your style, they do offer a free weekend shuttle to certain attractions.

Do you know what dragons love? Tacos, of course! They love chicken tacos, beef tacos, great big tacos, and teeny tiny tacos. While a boy and his dog are watching TV, they unexpectedly learn the ‘do’s and don’ts’ of what kinds of tacos to serve dragons. Unfortunately, when the boy throws his new dragon friends a spicy salsa taco party, red-hot trouble ensues!

This is one of my eldest’s (and his cousin’s) favorite books, and getting the chance to see it live is an unforgettable experience. If you can’t catch it this weekend, consider seeing it on a Tuesday – they’ll have mini street tacos and other local favorites waiting for you outside.
