I was planning to go to Fiesta Texas but SeaWorld sounds good.
THANK YOU SO MUCH! I am a teacher and have 3 preschool grandkids!
I tried to purchase the preschool tickets but the systems didn’t let me do it. In the third step (who is going) it keeps saying : Please correct the following: (I tried many times and it didn’t work 🙁 )
The birth date you entered is invalid. Please enter valid birth date in format (mm/dd/yyyy).
Problem(s) with Guest #1: The birth date you entered is invalid. Please enter valid birth date in format (mm/dd/yyyy)
I tried too! All I get is a OOPS message and try again later!
Called Sea World customer service! Estimated wait time is 93 minutes! Looks like they can keep their good deal!
you have to do one child at a time and then close out of the system and do it again
Why did you erase my message about the Seaworld preschoolers tickets???? What I said is true. The seaworld page doesn’t let me get the free ticketck. It get stucked on the Third step (who is going).
Teresa, I didn’t erase your message. It was not appearing because I hadn’t had a chance to approve it to be shown here yet. As you can see above, it is showing now. I’m sorry you’re having difficulties with the SeaWorld registration for the free preschooler tickets. As I am not involved directly with that program or website, I cannot help. I suggest you contact SeaWorld directly to let them know about this issue you’re experiencing. Thank you!
How would this work for homeschoolers? In Texas we are legally a private school. But I wouldn’t have a pay stub or TEA cert.
Holli, that’s a great question. Please contact SeaWorld directly to ask them. I’m sorry I can’t answer specific questions about this promotion.
Did you find anything out about this?
This is from their site… it will not work for homeschool, priviate school ect unless you have a TEA teachers certificiate ……. I’m a pre-school, day care, private, home-school teacher, or college professor. Am I eligible for this offer?
If you have been certified by the state of Texas for Pre-K–12 grades and hold an active Department of Education number, you may submit a request to receive the FREE Teacher Fun Card Feb 1, 2017 – May 31, 2017. Otherwise, you do not meet the requirements for the program. Verification can only be complete if Pre-K–12 Texas grade school teachers are currently in the Department of Education database.
when is teacher open house for sea world san antonio
SeaWorld San Antonio’s teacher open house is February 28 from 12pm – 6pm. Details here: https://seaworldparks.com/en/seaworld-sanantonio/teacher-open-house
My son is 5 but turns 6 this year, will he still qualify?
Lisa, you’ll need to contact SeaWorld directly for an answer to your question. Thank you!
Love Sea World, but will not be going there anymore. I have taken advantage of the Teacher Fun Pass, but now, in order to register for it, one has to upload their social security number, sorry, but I won’t do that.
I just got my Sea World eticket – I was frustrated at first, but I think the id.me site needs 24 to confirm n validate your certification – then you can go to the sea world website under the teachers section n “buy” your tickets – of course the fee is waived n you pay $0!!! Thank you Sea World!!!
It didn’t let me get them, it said the site was no longer available?. Help
Hi, Myrna,
I just tried to access the SeaWorld page where they are offering free SeaWorld Fun Cards to Texas teachers and preschoolers and I didn’t have any trouble getting to it. It appears to be working. Please try again after closing your browser and reopening it or try another computer to see if that helps. Thank you!
How do I register my preschooler? I was able to register myself as a teacher but can’t seem to find where to register for him. I tried preschool fun card and it appears there is no slot to register.
Hi I’m trying to get my teacher pass but I’m stuck on the step where they are requesting you to upload your certificate. I don’t have a copy saved and SBEC doesn’t allow you to obtain a copy of your certificate. How do I get it verified on Id.me?
Hi, Renee. I’m sorry you’re having trouble with that. You’ll need to contact SeaWorld directly to resolve the issue. Thank you!
You can send a school id with picture or copy of paystub.
A few years ago when I had the teacher pass they allowed you to pay $10 to have a day pass to aquatica does anyone know if that is still true?
Unlimited free admission for teacher fun card but then $20 for parking each time I go? I will probably be better off with a annual pass if I go to go there 5 times or more through out the year? Any upgrades so free for parking as well?
If you become a pass member, you get free parking, it’s $5 or $8 to upgrade to Shamu parking. Totally worth it. Your preschooler doesn’t have to park, so you only need one pass member to get all of the perks.
I always have to have a paid ticket for my husband so we get his with a parking pass and use that one
Unfortunately this does not include the $20 per trip parking fee. Plus, a couple of years ago they gave teachers the Sea World and Aquatica fun card….much better deal.
I absolutely love this idea! I can’t wait to get a ticket for my preschool daughter & take both my girls (ages 3 & 1) for the 1st time. I am however disappointed in Sea World for only offering the teacher ticket to “credentialed school teachers”! I am a Pre-K teacher aide and I work just as hard as the teacher I work with and to have it thrown in my face that I’m NOT the teacher and thus not allowed to use this wonderful offer kind of upsets me. Aides work extremely hard too and seem to be always forgotten about and looked down on as if we are less than just because we don’t hold the degree.
I am not saying that anyone on this page has said or done anything to make me feel this way & I realize you have no control over what Sea World does…I just wanted to point that fact out. I am a wife and mother of 2 who works full time and I am pursuing options for going back to school to finish my degree…I just think that Aides deserve the same respect a teacher gets as we do much of the same work! That’s the end of my rant. Thank you!
Do you know if there is a special running for adding Aquatica to the teacher funcard and preschool pass?
Some people I know said they went and did this on both kinds and it worked for the 30 bucks but I dont see anything online for it…. so not sure… I am going to try on Friday
I have 5 year old twins that will be 6 before we go in the summer, will it still apply to them? and Im a teacher but cannot upload my certificate. what can I do??
I am trying to find where it says you can upgrade to aquatica for $30. Can you show me where that is at?
