Contactless Country Christmas

If you still haven’t gotten photos with Santa this year, head to Traders Village while you still can!

This weekend marks Traders Village’s grand finale of its “Contactless Country Christmas” event. The venue has been celebrating Christmas all month long with festive train rides, flea markets, and more. Amidst the buzz of Trader Village’s many events, its “Contactless Country Christmas” is the favorite highlight of this space’s holiday season.

Once you arrive at Traders Village, head to Traders Hall. Here you’ll find the real Mr. and Mrs. Claus in a homey Christmas-themed setting complete with hay bales, holiday decorations, and a faux fireplace.

This space is technically outdoors, making it safer than most options for Santa meet-and-greets this year. Traders Hall presents a unique opportunity for little ones to have a comfortable yet socially distanced chat with Christmas’s favorite couple. To ensure the safety of everyone, masks are required.

Traders Village is offering several options for professional photo packages and pricing, starting at the low price of $5 for a 4×6 photo. A part of these proceeds will be donated to the San Antonio Food Bank. In addition, visitors are also invited to take their own photos free of cost.

Traders Village wants this event to be as accessible as possible, especially during a year that has been hard on many families. Trader Village’s “Contactless Country Christmas” offers an inexpensive and memorable way to spend the day with family and loved ones. To add to the event’s accessibility, Mr. Claus is also bilingual! Spanish-speaking families and kids will be able to interact directly with their friends from the North Pole.

Admission is free, with the exception of the $4 parking fee per vehicle. Traders Village is located at 9333 S Loop 410 at Old Pearsall Road. Stop by on Saturday or Sunday between the hours of 12:30 PM and 4 PM to snap a photo with the Clauses!
