Disney SingalongABC’s is scheduled to host The Disney Family Singalong this Thursday, April 16th at 8:00 pm. Many can agree with the fact that during the coronavirus pandemic, Disney has been a saving grace in the form of entertainment. Households across America are hunkering down every night to stream their favorite Disney movies like Frozen 2 and Onward, which were both recently released on Disney Plus. The special will air Thursday, April 16th on ABC at 8:00 pm and is set to feature so many celebrities that will be singing all of your favorite Disney songs from the most famous Disney films, including Beauty and the BeastMoanaThe Little Mermaid, and Frozen. 

Ryan Seacrest will be hosting the one-hour special that will feature stars who will perform remotely and get to sing from the comfort of their own home.

ABC Entertainment president Karen Burke explains that “If there’s something that we’ve all learned in the past few weeks, it’s to cherish every moment and the importance of connection, whether through laughter, stories, or music”.

Disney fans can tune in from your television or can stream the performance from ABC’s website. Among those scheduled to appear are Josh Gad (aka Olaf in Frozen),  Auli’i Cravalho (Moana herself), Christina Aguilera, Kristen Chenoweth, John Stamos, Michael Bublé, Amber Riley, Erin Andrews, Bobby Bones, Luke Evans, Jordan Fisher, Derek Hough, Julianne Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba, Little Big Town, Kenny Ortega, Donny Osmond, and Thomas Rhett.

While the show is intended to bring love, joy, and laughter to the world in such a dark time, Disney’s Singalong also wants to raise awareness for Feeding America organization that is striving to feed individuals who “are finding themselves in unfamiliar circumstances and facing hunger for the first time due to COVID-19,”
