You’ve got just two days left to visit an amazing, free exhibit sponsored by KLRN and North Star Mall: Dinosaur George’s Museum in the Classroom. We visited it today and my kids were mesmerized by the sizes and varieties of dinosaurs hanging out in one of their favorite malls.
This incredible display of rare dinosaur artifacts is open to the public through Sunday. Then the exhibit will travel to classrooms across San Antonio. With school field trip funds harder to scrape together these days, the experience of getting up close and personal with the world’s most fascinating dinosaurs will go to where the kids are – the schools – thanks to a partnership between Dinosaur George and KLRN.
At North Star Mall, the dinosaur artifacts are spread among five areas with self-guided exhibits. Experts, including Dinosaur George and this cool kid, are available to answer your questions.
My son was especially proud that he identified his favorite dinosaur – Brachiosaurus – by his skull.
And my daughter thought Triceratops was cool. Well, almost as cool as the Justice store right behind him.
Be sure to walk the entire mall, from Macy’s to Dillard’s, to see all five areas of the Dinosaur George exhibit.

Wish we weren’t busy this weekend, the boys love dinosaurs. Looks like fun.
Thanks, Michelle. It’s a fun exhibit. I like that it’s self-guided but there are still experts available to answer questions. Maybe they’ll hold this exhibit again before the school year is through!
My niece and nephews will love to visit here..Its a great experience to see the dinosaurs in the exhibit..
