I’ve always been a maker since I was little. When my mom brought home Jamie’s new book, C.R.A.F.T.: Creating Really Awesome Free Things, I was amazed. It has 100 fun, awesome, easy projects for kids! 100!
I flipped through every page in the book that night. I marked at least 40 pages in the book, to remember all of the cool crafts I wanted to make. The next day it was, craft, craft, craft. I made 10 things! When I was finished, my hands were covered in a mixture of paint, glue, cardboard (which was stuck to the glue), and some black marker.
My personal opinion is that this book is for children of all ages (and adults!). My favorite craft I created was the snowman tin can. My family and I put it on our mantel on top of our fire place, and my brother and I wrote our names on the cans. I know that this is something our family will use throughout the holidays. You can put candy canes, tinsel, or pens in it. You can even fill it with fresh flowers and give it to someone as a present!
I really enjoyed reading Jamie’s book and I think kids and adults will love it too. For ages one to 100, Jamie’s book is awesome because it includes helpful directions and pictures you can refer to. And, she recommends using everyday, free items you already have at home to a make them into amazing art projects!
XOXO, Delaney

Great job on the crafts and the post, Delaney!
This will make the perfect gift for my nephew. Not only will the book serve as an inspiration for him, but it will help keep him busy on those cold and rainy days that keep him inside. If I look it over before I give it to him I’ll have a pretty good idea what he’ll be giving me for my birthday! 😉
