With the city’s biggest festival, Fiesta, coming up this summer, members of the San Antonio City Council are urging residents to get their COVID-19 vaccinations. The long-awaited festival takes place June 17-27, 2021.
Councilwomen Rebecca Viagran, Dr. Adriana Rocha Garcia and Shirley Gonzales organized a free Fiesta-themed drive-thru clinic for the health and safety of San Antonio residents. The event featured Fiesta Royalty El Rey Feo Thomas Aguillon.
More than 130 participants aged 18+ received the single shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
