Snakefessst at San Marcos Discovery Center

Like snakes? Scared of snakes? Not sure? All are welcome to attend Snakefessst at the San Marcos Discovery Center (430 Riverside Drive) on September 16 from 10 am-2 pm.

Learn about and interact with the snakes that call our area home (snakes courtesy of Ryan Collister). Participate in herp walks to experience snakes and reptiles in their natural habitat. Attend lectures to learn about snakes, snake safety, and more.

Enjoy snake-themed music by Molly Hays, take part in Snake Yoga, and check out The Yarnballs Snakey Skit. There will also be photo ops, snake-themed activities, crafts for all ages, partner booths, and educational displays.

This event is FREE and fun for all ages! A complete list of activities for the day will be posted closer to the event date at sanmarcostx.gov/snakefessst.
