Healthy Trees and Certified Arborist at San Antonio Botanical Garden. The ISA Certification exam is a four-session, 32-hour course designed to prepare professional arborists for the exam. This training is great for anyone who wants to be safe while also learning more about the importance of trees and how to protect them. Non-professionals are welcome to attend to learn more about the benefits of trees and improve their tree identification and maintenance abilities. Tree biology, installation, nutrition and fertilization, plant illnesses and disorders, and worker safety are only a few of the topics covered. After completing the four-session course, participants will get a certificate with continuing education hours. In collaboration with the San Antonio Arborist Association and the Alamo Forest Partnership, this course is available.
