The Ethnobotany of Vanilla and Vanillin at San Antonio Botanical Garden. Vanilla has become synonymous with boredom, having evolved from being the only orchid to produce an edible crop to a flavorant used in both the simplest and most lavish of delicacies. This workshop and taste will demonstrate that this plant and its history are far from dull!
