In the latest string of closures, Big Bend National Park is closed as of Thursday July 2nd to all visitors. There is no set date for reopening.
This closure is in response to a confirmed COVID-19 case that is withing the residential portion of the park. The park, as well as Terlingua Ranch Road, will also be closed to through traffic. Brewster County has also mandated masks to be worn in public when social distancing isn’t possible.
