Back to School Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Ideas from San Antonio bloggers and the Weekly Link Up for August 25 - 31, 2014
After a month away, the San Antonio Mom Blogs’ Weekly Link Up is back!

But, before we get to all of your bloggy goodness, let’s chat about back to school. Some of you have kids who started school a week or two ago. Some have children starting back today. While others are busy, nearly year-round, with homeschool. Whatever your school situation, one thing’s usually the same for all of us: planning and preparing healthy, nutritious meals for our kids can be a tall order that competes for our time and attention among so many worthy things on our to do lists.

Here are a few resources, many from local bloggers, which focus on creating healthy, fun, and often easy meals to give you a few new ideas and hopefully ease a bit of that meal-prep stress from your life.

Back to school breakfast ideas from San Antonio bloggers. This post I pulled together last year to showcase the creative ways bloggers fuel their kids before school.

Back to School Bentos. My newest Flipboard Magazine is a collection of fun and whimsical lunch creations from across the web to help parents think outside the sandwich. Sure, some of these bento box lunches are pie-in-the-sky-who-has-time-for-that dishes. But most are pretty easy to make and they’re all great for getting new ideas and inspiration for new lunch-worthy items your kids might just dig.

Clever back to school snacks and meals. This round up of easy breakfasts, lunches, snacks, and dinners from San Antonio mom bloggers is all you need for a week’s worth of meal prep.

Now it’s time for the Weekly Link Up. Are you writing about fun foodie options for kids or back to school? Share those posts and your posts on any topic here all week long. I can’t wait to read them and share them out!
