Looking for a unique and affordable camp for your kids this summer? For the first time ever, Northwest Vista College offers S.T.A.G.E.S., Student Training for the Arts for Growth and Self Confidence. These two-week camps, held for three hours each weekday, are available for both beginner and intermediate students of voice, guitar, and dance between the ages of 8 – 17.
Taught by Northwest Vista College and Network for Young Artists faculty, these two-week camps are just $50 per child, thanks to a challenge grant from the National Endowment for the Arts and funding from the college’s Friends of the Arts (FANs).
Camp dates/sessions:
Session 1: June 15-25, 2015
9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. – Beginner Vocals, Dance, and Guitar
1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. – Intermediate Vocals Dance, and Guitar
Recitals on June 25, 2015
Session 2: July 13-23, 2015
9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. – Beginner Vocals, Dance, and Guitar
1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. – Intermediate Vocals Dance, and Guitar
Recitals on July 23, 2015
Northwest Vista College hosts both beginner and intermediate camps in three buildings: Palmetto Center for the Arts, Huisache Hall and Live Oak, all located at 3535 N. Ellison Dr., San Antonio, TX 78251. The drop-off and pick-up point is the Live Oak amphitheater.

All instructors receive background checks and complete special training on Safe Environment Awareness required by the Department of State Health Services for those who work with minors.
Participating students are asked to sign a membership agreement that requires members to pledge to be alcohol and drug free and not associate with gangs.
